Your Safety is Our Priority.

At GAR Inc the safety and enjoyment of our members and visitors are our top priority. The following guideline was created to ensure each and every individual’s utmost safety during their time with us. Please take a moment to read prior to your visit to our facility:

  1. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times while in the range.

  2. All firearms must be unloaded, in a closed container or holstered when entering or exiting the range.

  3. No hand-loaded ammo is allowed in our facility. Shooting hand-loads will get you banned from our range.

  4. Always keep the muzzle pointed downrange.

  5. Always keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot.

  6. No inexperienced shooters are allowed in the range without prior instruction and advance approval from the Range Manager.

  7. The call of “Cease Fire” or the sound of a whistle means stop shooting immediately. Do NOT handle your guns when a cease fire is on.

  8. If you need to leave the Range for any reason, unload your firearm at the shooting stall and case it.

  9. Only authorized firearms and ammunition may be used. The Range Manager has final approval on acceptable ammunition types.

  10. Only CONTROLLED rapid fire is allowed.

  11. No alcohol or drug consumption prior to or while shooting. You will not be allowed on the range.

  12. If you experience a problem with your firearm, please notify the Range Manager immediately.

  13. Load and handle firearms ONLY at the shooting stall.

  14. No food, drinks, gum chewing or tobacco products are allowed in the range.

  15. Shooters may only shoot at a target in their assigned lane. No cross lane shooting.

  16. If you notice an unsafe shooting condition, call for a cease-fire and notify the Range Manager or Instructor on duty.

  17. Please place all used targets in the trash containers provided.
